2nd European DIY-Lifetime Award 2010: Gilles Caille (CEO RED HEAD, Co-founder of fediyma)

Participants taking part in the 2nd European Home Improvement Forum in Paris on the 31 May - 1 June were unanimous that this conference was the best networking event ever held in our industry with almost 500 participants from 31 countries, of which over 100 were retailers representing 43 home improvement companies. EDRA President Régis Degelcke said of the event, "It was absolutely amazing just how many people from our industry I met in the two days and I am going home with over 50 business cards, so I have a lot of homework to do."

The event was held at Disneyland Paris and for the first time ever delegates attending the event could use a voting tool to answer prepared questions and to vote on the quality of the speakers, with many of the speakers receiving excellent results. Gilles Caille, who for many years has been the President of Uniball France (the Association for French suppliers) and founder of fediyma, was given a standing ovation when he received the European Lifetime Award.
