FEDIYMA Achievements
   
 

Since its creation in March 2000, Fediyma has already started to work and achieve important parts of its mission:

  • The European Consumer
    The first study has been issued on the "European Diy’er and Gardener" in 2000. This consumer research has enabled us to better identify the similarities and differences between consumers in the three majors European markets: France, UK and Germany. Another study has been managed on the theme of planning and delivering a "diy project in Europe"..
    This analyse “the FEDIYMA CONSUMER REPORT” has been really successful and the federation decided to work deeply on it. The study is being extended in 14 countries, in DIY and Gardening for 20000 consumers.
  • World Diy Report
    Every year Fediyma issues a major market research called the 'World Diy Report' which is an important source of information for all those who have to better understand the European and World Diy market.
    The world DIY Report can be bought from Fediyma in English.
    Price in March 2007 is € 250 for members and € 400 for non members.
  • European Forum
    Fediyma organised the Fediyma Forum every two years in Brussels in September to enable the whole DIY Business to share a view on the future development of our market. The federation decided to follow the growth of a dynamic market and choose to organise it in Spain in 2007.

    Represent the DIY Business
    Fediyma is regarded as a very important and reliable source of information and opinion by the financial community in Europe. Also, it has built a working relationship with EDRA, the European DIY Retailers Association.
