BmDK was founded in 1998 as an association for manufacturers and importers, who market and deliver products to the professional construction business and the private DIY market in Denmark.
BmDK is dedicated to representing and protecting its members’ interests and assisting wherever possible with their commercial success. This includes political lobbying on national and european issues within the area of building and construction issues, e.g. the Construction Products Directive, the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, rules for urban planning, construction etc.
BmDK provides a variety of activities, which all aim to generate information and knowledge, strengthen the network and the exchange of knowledge and experience between members.
A central task is to provide the membership companies with the best possible conditions for meeting the future challenges in an increasingly complex market. To create a better foundation for the ability to decide and act in the daily business, BmDK aims to keep its members informed and up to date through information, seminars and meetings on subjects, which are of interest and importance.
An important advantage to members is the BmDK Network Groups, which meet on a regular basis to discuss subjects of interest. Each group is based on the member’s collective, professional background and thus the subjects vary from group to group.
BmDK represents, through its members, all major product groups.
