About fediyma > Achievements

Since its creation in March 2000, fediyma has converted various conceptual ideas into reliable tools:

The European Consumer Report
Fediyma’s first study on the "European Diy’er and Gardener" was issued in 2000. This consumer research enabled fediyma to better identify the similarities and differences between consumers in the three major European markets: France, UK and Germany. A second European-wide study in 2005 looked at how consumers took on planning and delivering a diy project. The analysis of this study produced "The fediyma Consumer Report" which, after a great deal of hard work by the federation’s members in analysing the data, has been very successful. This study was then extended in 2007 to cover 14 countries, and 20,000 consumers undertaking DIY and Gardening projects. And in 2008 a new software tool has enabled users to make easy comparisons of the data between the two studies (2005 vs. 2007).
